Lowell Grow

CD Barnes Construction renovated a former Admiral Tobacco warehouse into a new state-of-the-art marijuana grow facility, called Lowell Grow. The growers use a vertical grow technique, a rare but highly efficient grow method. On the production side, the single vegetation room and four grow rooms are fully climate controlled using insulated paneling systems by PermaTherm. The operation also features duel drying rooms, a propagation room, and a trim room. Keeping security top-of-mind, the main entrance can only be accessed by security card. Other security measures include a fully bullet resistant vestibule and a multitude of security systems. Furthermore, the facility also features offices, restrooms, an employee lounge, and a locker room. Other major upgrades to the warehouse included transitioning from septic, to the City of Lowell’s sewer network, and a completely new electrical system.
