FABTEC Awarded For Outstanding Performance

Grand Rapids, Michigan – In 2016 CD Barnes Construction created an award program to recognize subcontractors who go above and beyond their everyday duties, and exemplify the best in performance, quality, and communication to ensure the success of a project for the West Michigan general contractor. The program, coined “Key to Our Success,” signifies the direct relationship between the efforts of the subcontractor and the general contractor. CD Barnes Construction would not be what it is today without the commitment of our long-standing partnerships with our subcontractors.

The most recent award winner, Fabtec, a commercial contractor specializing in structural steel fabrication and ornamental metals for both commercial and residential construction, with offices in Byron Center, Michigan. CD Barnes’ Project Manager, Lynne Blondell nominated Fabtec for their work performed at the new Ramblewood Clubhouse in Grandville, MI. When asked why Fabtec was the obvious choice, Lynne commented that their open communication, responsiveness, commitment to safety and overall positive attitude led to her decision  Bravo Fabtec!
