Grand Rapids, Michigan, September 1, 2015 – The Ridges of Cascade, a new luxury apartment community being developed by the LaCati Group and constructed by CD Barnes Construction, broke ground in December of 2013. On Wednesday, August 12th, the project (located on the former Centennial Golf Course) hosted a grand opening party. The grand opening event marked the project’s completion of the community clubhouse and its first-class amenities being available for current tenant use. The Ridges of Cascade is already home to over 150 residents.
The party was well attended with upwards of ninety guests that included city officials, community members, and the development’s investors, building contractors, tenants, friends, and employees and their families. A ribbon cutting ceremony kicked off the event Todd G. Oosting, executive vice president of CD Barnes Construction and Chad Cassiday, owner of the LaCati Group, expressing their appreciation to everyone involved on the project. Peak Performer awards were then presented by Cassiday to his staff and the CD Barnes team that have been working on development. Live music and appetizers capped off the night’s celebration at the “Ridges.”
