Spectrum Health I.S. Workstation Study
Location
Grand Rapids, MISpectrum Health Medical Group hired CD Barnes Construction to manage the renovation of their location at 4600 Breton Ave. via the Design/Build process. The majority of the project consisted of interior demolition, contemporary interior upgrades and new mechanical systems. The new location boasts open offices with glass partitions and sliding doors, casework that was custom built and installed, a cloud ceiling system and full length marker boards that cover most wall surfaces. Moreover, electrical upgrades included the first U.S. installation of Lithonia Lighting’s brand new LED light fixtures that have passive infrared sensors for determining on/off times, leading to higher energy cost savings. Completion of the location was ahead of schedule and to the owner’s complete satisfaction.
