Grand Rapids, MIMeeting the main design objective—optimum use of natural light—turned out to be our greatest challenge in the construction of this personal banking building. By taking into account the rolling site terrain we were able to allow natural light in while creating direct outside views throughout all areas of the building. A monumental curved staircase highlights the gracious atrium, while cherry hardwood, porcelain tile and satin brass accentuate the quiet elegance of the premises.
