Grand Rapids, MICD Barnes constructed this pre-engineered building on the Gerald R. Ford International Airport’s East/West runway. The project included the construction of terminal space with sophisticated automated handling and sorting equipment, a maintenance area, a de-icer and wash bay, a mezzanine storage area and a clear span area with standing seam roofing. The building offers a high-tech appearance at a reasonable cost helping to keep the project within budget.
