Grand Rapids, Michigan, May 18, 2022 – CD Barnes Construction has awarded their first Key To Our Success Award of the year to Rico’s of Hudsonville. CD Barnes’ Site Manager, Jonathan Stoner, who is overseeing the Kiddie Academy project in Wyoming selected the framer for the contractor’s first nominee of the year.

CD Barnes Construction started the award program back in 2016 to recognize trade contracts who go above and beyond their normal duties and exemplify the best in performance, quality, and communication to ensure the success of a project. CD Barnes would not be what it is today without the dedication of our trade contractor partners. The award signifies the direct relationship between the efforts of the subcontractor and the general contractor. It is just one way in which we can show them our gratitude and just how important they are to us.

When asked why Jonathan chose Rico’s, he shared how Rico’s has had a positive approach when dealing with unforeseen issues that arose on the project. Jonathan said he has been impressed with Rico’s coordination, communication, their forward-thinking, and their daily implementation of required safety protocols. Moreover, he noted how Rico’s has been dependently consistent with safe work, daily cleanup, and are responsive to any direction given.
