Grand Rapids, Michigan, March 7, 2019 – Caledonia’s newest assisted living facility, Legacies Assisted Living, will soon be moving in their first residents. The single-story community features twenty assisted living apartments and eight secure memory care units. Focused on making it feel as homey as possible, the facility was designed to be its own community within the Caledonia community. As residents begin moving in, they will begin to discover all the amenities that their new home has to offer, such as activity rooms, an outdoor space, a post office, a barber and beauty shop, a Five & Dime store, a laundry area, pharmacy, and a café. Legacies’ mission is to offer residents state-of-the-art accommodation, industry leading care and service, and daily life enrichment activities all in a warm home-like setting. A grand opening event will be taking place at the community (9031 N. Rodgers Court SE) with a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Thursday, March 14th at 3:30 pm. Refreshments will be provided.
