Grand Rapids, Michigan, March 11, 2019 – One of Barry County’s largest employers, Flexfab, is getting a makeover. The global leader in the manufacturing of high-performance silicone and polymer products is investing in the future by revitalizing their iconic space located at 1699 West M-43 Highway in Hastings. The 12,000 square foot renovation has already begun with selective interior demolition. Slated to be complete by the Fall of 2019, the project’s scope includes the rejuvenation of office areas, restrooms, lunch area and meeting space to provide a state-of-the-art, professional, work environment. The final goal of the project is to encourage teamwork, innovation, and the creative engineered solutions Flexfab is known for. The demolition is currently in progress and will be followed by a completely new look from floor to ceiling. CD Barnes Construction, out of Grand Rapids has been chosen as the Construction Manager for the project.
