Grand Rapids, Michigan, May 20, 2013 — CD Barnes Construction announced today that the company was selected by Isabella County Medical Care Facility to construct their new addition to the hospital.

Todd Oosting, Executive Vice President of CD Barnes, stated “We are thrilled to have been elected by Isabella County to complete their addition to their senior care facility. Because of vital health care needs provided by the hospital, our team has developed a rigorous schedule for construction to ensure a timely completion of the addition.”

The project will include demolition of an existing one-story building to make way for the new addition. The structural elements of the addition are constructed out of CMU bearing walls, steel columns and beams and pre-cast floor panels. The interior of the addition will include high end finishes with an additional 18 patient rooms, family rooms and kitchens.
