Grand Rapids, Michigan, May 4, 2022 – Grand Rapids-based CD Barnes Construction is excited to announce the hiring of two new employees to their growing team.

The construction manager has hired Amy Walls as a Project Coordinator and Interior Designer. Amy will assist CD Barnes’ project managers with writing subcontracts, issuing change orders, compiling project close out documents, and other various administrative tasks related to project coordination. She has been involved in the construction industry for over 15 years. Amy also brings ten years of experience in interior design with her, where she will assist CD Barnes’ clients with selecting finishes for their projects. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Hope College. Amy currently lives in Ada with her husband of 25 years. They have two sons, aged 18 and 20. In her free time Amy enjoys cooking, golfing, shopping, and attending University of Michigan football games.

 

The commercial contractor has also hired Nicole Hair as a Graphic Designer and Photographer. She is responsible for creating ad designs, managing timelapse cameras, taking drone video and photos, assisting with website updates, and taking final photos of projects. Nicole has 5 years of experience in photography and graphic design. She holds an associate degree from Grand Rapids Community College. She currently lives in Grand Rapids and enjoys creating art, baking, napping, and spending time with her significant other and friends during her free time.
