CD Barnes Construction Appoints Jason Kauffman as Vice President, COO, & Shareholder
Grand Rapids, MI – June 4, 2025 – CD Barnes Construction is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Kauffman as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Shareholder. With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry and a decade of dedicated service at CD Barnes, Jason steps into this role with a deep understanding of the company’s mission, culture, and vision for the future.
Jason’s career in construction began shortly after earning his degree from Michigan State University. He went on to hold key roles at Wilcox Construction and Wieland-Davco Corporation, gaining valuable experience as a project manager and estimator. His hands-on approach, strong work ethic, and leadership capabilities brought him to CD Barnes ten years ago, where he contributed to the company’s steady growth and continued reputation for excellence.

Outside of the office, Jason is a devoted family man. He and his wife live in West Michigan with their three children. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys spending his free time hunting and camping with his family.
