New Apartment Development Coming To Southeast Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids, Michigan, June 11, 2018 – The clearing of trees is complete and the sitework has begun on another apartment project in southeast Grand Rapids. The Reserve at Oxford will be the newest addition to the Oxford Place Apartment community located at 2141 Eastcastle Drive, located between Breton Road and Kalamazoo Avenue, just off of 44th Street.

Slated to be complete in the fall of 2019, the 132-unit project is the result of a high-demand housing market in the growing Grand Rapids area. Conveniently located just fifteen minutes from downtown, the new one- and two-bedroom units will include a full-sized washer and dryer, modern fixtures and cabinetry, quartz countertops, an outdoor patio or balcony, and access to Oxford’s clubhouse, which includes an outdoor pool and 24-hour fitness center.

The $18 million project is being developed by Peak Management, a multi-family real estate firm out of Royal Oak that was founded in 2005 and has grown its portfolio to include nearly 3,000 apartment units. Construction of the community is being provided by Grand Rapids based contractor, CD Barnes Construction.

A Groundbreaking Ceremony will be taking place at the project site on Thursday, June 14th at 11 am. Refreshments will be provided. RSVP to Ellen at efrey@cdbarnes.com if you plan to attend.
