Milestones Child Development Center – Belmont

In 2011 CD Barnes completed an addition and renovation to the original building of Milestones’ Belmont facility. The project entailed relocating the playground and demolishing an existing wall in order to build the addition, all of which had to be done while the center remained operational.

In 2014 the Belmont location was again in need of additional space and opted to build an additional building on the property for school-aged children. The slab-on-grade, wood-framed building boasts 2,500 square feet of space that includes an office, a traditional classroom, restrooms, and an “outdoor” classroom designed with several windows, and two overhead doors on the walls. This concept gives the look and feel that the children are outdoors while being inside the classroom.
