Grand Rapids, Michigan, August 18, 2014 — Todd Oosting, Executive Vice President of CD Barnes Construction announced today the hiring of Mike Dempsey, Senior Project Manager.

Mr. Dempsey has been in the construction industry for over twenty-eight years. Following his graduation from Michigan State University, Mr. Dempsey began his career in Chicago working as a Project Manager for Pepper Construction Company. After eight years of managing projects in the Midwest, Mike joined Davis and Associates and spent the next 19 years working in the mountains of New Mexico. From Albuquerque to Santa Fe to Taos, Mike managed projects ranging from $2,000,000 – $55,000,000. We are pleased with Mike’s decision to return to Michigan and are excited to have him join our experienced project management team.

Mr. Dempsey will be responsible for both estimating and managing projects. Mike has invaluable experience in both of these areas that will be beneficial to our clients in the planning and execution of their construction projects.
