Grand Rapids, Michigan, June 8, 2015 – Kirt Ojala, Vice President of Business Development, recently announced that Great Lakes Capital, a retail developer out of South Bend, Indiana, has selected CD Barnes to update three of their retail center locations.  From East to West, 28th Street will receive a major facelift. Great Lakes Capital is investing in their properties and planning several aesthetically pleasing updates.

The first of the three centers receiving updates is Ridgemoor, located at 2889 28th Street SE in Kentwood. Current tenants include Qdoba, Pal’s Indian Cuisine, Frames Unlimited, a tattoo parlor and a variety of other shops. Renovations on the property, located near Woodland Mall, are already underway.

The bustling location between Ivanrest and Byron Center has already completed demolition and renovations have already began.

The last of the retail centers under renovation is a Cascade location at 6250 28th Street SE. Subway, Cascade Liquor, Tiki Tanning, The Blind Doctor, Mediterranean Grill, Dominoes and a half dozen other stores currently lease space in the this large retail center.
