Grand Rapids, Michigan, March 2, 2015 — Todd Oosting, Executive Vice President of CD Barnes Construction announced today that the company has been selected as the General Contractor for a renovation at the Paul I Phillips location of the Boys and Girls Club Grand Rapids located on Madison Street. “The Boys and Girls Club provides excellent after school programming for our local youth. We are excited to help provide them with an updated location in which to fulfill their mission,” shared Todd Oosting.
The project consists of renovating approximately 4,000 square feet of space. Architect Isaac V. Norris completed the plans for the updated teen center. Construction plans include the replacement of doors and windows, updated lighting, the exchange of vinyl flooring for a mixture of laminate and carpet tiles, fresh paint and a few modifications to the kitchen area.
With a June 1st construction deadline, updates will be finished in time to accommodate the centers busy summer months.
